Smartcity is under development and uses frontier technology . So we need huge expenses to create it . And we need many development to put into use.
The total enterprise of 60 billion yen is actually invested in about 19-ha land, and there is a project of building the housing group of an about 1000-house scale in which about 3000 residents will reside by 2018, commercial establishment, a hospital, etc.
Thus, although it is still the experimental stage, the measure towards smart city realization is taken.
